This Thanksgiving season Wheeler Mission Ministries needs the help of friends like you to serve more than 76,380 meals! Some of the meals we serve are special, like our holiday dinners at Thanksgiving and Christmas. But whether it’s a special celebration or a nutritious meal, no one goes away hungry! A meal is often the first contact the Mission has with people in need. Once they are fed, it’s much easier to begin taking care of other problems like homelessness, addiction, lack of education or joblessness. So your gift to provide meals actually opens the door to services that help people get back on their feet! The cost of helping one homeless or hungry person may be one of the few things that hasn’t gone up in the past year. No gift is too small and each donation we receive is put to work immediately.
