Our 6th annual Drumstick Dash sets yet another record with over 7,000 Runners/Walkers! Mayor Greg Ballard said a few words prior to the race and gave the "GO" to start the race. This year also included representatives from WISH, WRTV, WXIN and WTHR who participated in the first annual "media challenge." Jeane Coakley of WISH won the challenge and will maintain the trophy until the next race. Jeff Powers of Indianapolis the overall winner finished with a time of 22:01.5 minutes, and Kaitlyn Peale took female first place with a time of 26:29 minutes. In addition to the "big" race, the lil gobblers had a blast "taking" on the turkey in the parking lot.
